Although it appears quite impossible that any transfer will be possible, some clubs are currently showing interest in signing Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies this summer. The Canada international star is currently widely regarded as the best left-back in the world of football following the remarkable performances he has steadily been putting in for the German Bundesliga giants in the last couple of months, and those performances have seen him attract interest from several top clubs.

The manager responsible for bringing Davies into the limelight, Hansi Flick, has already departed the Allianz Arena, leading to the spread of reports that the defender could also be on the move in a bid to try out another challenge at a different club. However, according to German news media outlet BILD, those reports are false and the payer is solely focused on having another great season with the club.

It will come as a huge blow to the clubs that are said to be interested in signing him, with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City all said to want his services from this summer. Manchester United have been looking to bolster their squad and will jump at any given chance to sign any available top player in the summer as long as he matches their playing style and if he fits into the profile of the sort of players they want.

Paris Saint-Germain on the other hand, are willing to splash the cash this summer as they continue their hunt for their first UEFA Champions League title in their history. They have been reported to be interested in signing a couple of players this summer who will be expected to add more quality to their squad.

They alongside every other interested club will now have to look elsewhere as Davies is not expected to leave Bayern anytime soon.
